Yes. This kit fits the FNS Compact chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W. Not compatible with standard FNS-9 or FNS-40 (non-Compact).

No. This component is a direct drop-in replacement. No fitting, filing, or stoning required.

The sear in the photo looks different than what arrived — is it correct?

If the sear has the Apex logo laser engraved on it, it has received all necessary processing. Color variation between batches does not affect function.
