This magazine base pad is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory base pad on Mec-Gar 10-round BHP magazines. Designed specifically to interface with the SA-35 and BHP low-profile magwell, it eliminates the gap between the magazine floorplate and the magwell funnel. The elongated profile prevents over-insertion while the scalloped cuts provide a positive grip surface for magazine removal. Available in two material options: machined 6061 aluminum (anodized black, laser-etched logo) or in-house 3D printed carbon fiber-filled polymer (black, red, blue, green, purple).

Will this fit factory 13-round BHP magazines?

No. This base pad is dimensioned specifically for Mec-Gar 10-round BHP magazines. It will not fit 13-round factory magazines or any extended-capacity aftermarket magazines.

Does this base pad increase magazine capacity?

No. This is a base pad only – it does not alter the magazine tube, follower, or spring. Factory 10-round capacity is retained. Do not attempt to modify the magazine to accept more rounds.

Can I use this without the Apex magwell?

Technically yes – it will function as a base pad on the magazine. However, the elongated profile is optimized to fill the gap created by the Apex Low-Profile Magwell. Without the magwell, the pad will extend slightly below the grip frame.
