This Competition Trigger Kit replaces the factory trigger assembly in Ruger Mk IV and Mk IV 22/45 pistols. It solves the common issues of heavy, mushy trigger pulls and excessive overtravel that hinder precision shooting in competition or range work. The kit reduces pull weight to approximately 3.0 lbs and cuts overtravel by roughly 80%, delivering a clean, crisp break. A steel magazine safety delete is included, allowing the pistol to fire without the magazine inserted—recommended for competition use only. An adjustable overtravel stop lets you fine-tune the reset.
