It allows you to adjust trigger pull weight while keeping the factory trigger body and trigger bar. Requires removal of the factory sear housing block. Tools needed: 1/16” punch, 3/32” punch, small hammer, and a non-marring bench block. Armorer’s tool recommended for M2.0 models with the firing pin safety plunger. Estimated time: 15–25 minutes.

FAQ

Will this work with my M&P 1.0?

Yes. The kit is compatible with all standard M&P 1.0 and M2.0 pistols. It does not fit the Shield 1.0 or Shield M2.0 unless those models use the standard sear housing block (check your specific SKU).

Do I need to replace the trigger body?

No. This kit is designed to work with the factory trigger body and trigger bar. You keep your existing trigger and only swap the sear and calibration springs.

What pull weight will I get?

Pull weight depends on which calibration spring you install. Typical results with a Trigger Scan at the pivot pin: 4.5 lbs with the lightest spring, up to 6.5 lbs with the heaviest. Handheld gauges will read lighter. Test with the spring that gives your desired break.
