Apex Optic Mount for ACRO/MPS* Footprint Optics to Glock Gen 6 Pistols

This steel optic mount adapts ACRO/MPS* footprint optics to Glock® Gen 6 optic-ready slides. Machined from billet steel with a black PVD finish, it solves the durability issues common to aluminum mounts under the 3000g acceleration forces of a 9mm slide. A vibration-damping insert under the front cavity closes the light gap between the mount and slide locking key. Two 4mm x 0.7 mounting screws with pre-applied high-temp thread locker are included.

FAQ

Will this mount fit a Gen 5 Glock slide?

No. This mount is specifically designed for the Gen 6 factory optic cut. It will not interface correctly with Gen 5 or earlier slides.

Why steel instead of aluminum?

Aluminum optic mounts (6061 or 7075) can shear their rails under the 3000g acceleration per shot in 9mm pistols. Steel eliminates that failure point and maintains zero retention over thousands of rounds.

Does this work with the first-gen Steiner MPS clamp?

We recommend using the Apex Super Clamp for first-generation Steiner MPS optics that use the original factory clamp. Later MPS units with standard ACRO footprint work directly with this mount.
