What does “safe edge” mean on a pillar file?

The narrow faces are ground smooth and will not cut. This lets you file into a corner without damaging the adjacent surface. The wide faces do the cutting.

Will this file fit inside an SA-35 magwell?

Yes. At 4″ length and approximately 6mm width, it fits standard magwell channels and trigger guard slots. Use the smooth edges to avoid marring the frame.
