This Action Enhancement Trigger is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory trigger shoe in Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glock®-pattern pistols. It addresses the two most common complaints about the stock trigger — excessive over-travel and a long, mushy reset — without altering the pistol’s internal safety geometry. Moderate. Requires detail-stripping the slide and removing the trigger housing from the frame. Tools needed: Glock® trigger pin punch (3/32″), non-marring hammer, and a small flathead screwdriver or slave pin for the trigger shoe. Allow 20–30 minutes for first-time install. Full disassembly of the trigger housing is not required — the shoe swaps directly onto the factory trigger bar.

FAQ

Will this trigger work with my factory trigger bar?

Yes. This component is a shoe-only replacement. It uses the existing factory trigger bar and housing. No modification to the bar is required.

Does this trigger reduce pull weight?

No. This trigger does not alter pull weight. It shortens the travel and reset distances but leaves the trigger spring and connector unchanged. Pull weight remains factory spec (5.5–6.5 lb depending on model).

Will this fit a Gen 5 Glock®?

No. The Gen 5 trigger housing and trigger bar geometry differ from Gen 3/4. This shoe is designed exclusively for Gen 3 and Gen 4 frames. Use the Gen 5 version of this kit for Gen 5 pistols.
