This extended slide release replaces the factory CZ P-10 slide stop lever with a wider, rearward-extended paddle profile for improved thumb access without altering your grip. The stock part is often too narrow or positioned too far forward for shooters with shorter thumbs, high thumbs-forward grip, or gloved use. This component increases the contact surface area and moves the release point rearward, making slide-drop manipulation more consistent under time pressure or while maintaining a firing grip.

FAQ
Will this work with a P-10 C Optics Ready?
Yes. OR and standard slides share the same slide stop geometry. No interference with RMR mounting screws or sealing plate.
Does this affect the slide stop function when the magazine is empty?
No. The engagement surface with the magazine follower is unchanged. Slide lock-back on empty remains factory-spec. The extended paddle only changes the manual release interface.
Is the Melonite finish compatible with holster wear?
Yes. Melonite (QPQ) is a salt-bath nitrocarburizing process that creates a hard, corrosion-resistant surface layer (up to 68 HRC). It resists holster abrasion better than bluing or phosphate. Expect minor surface burnishing with Kydex over extended use, but no rust.
