Will this fit my M&P M2.0 steel frame?

Not at this time. This kit is only certified for aluminum frame M2.0 pistols. Steel frame models are being drop-tested; if they pass, certification will follow. Until then, do not install in steel frame guns.

Can I adjust the trigger pull weight myself?

Yes. The kit includes springs that, when combined with the factory sear and trigger return springs, allow you to set pull weight within a range suitable for duty/carry down to competition-weight preferences. No aftermarket sear or trigger return springs are needed—use factory parts as directed.

What is the difference between Type 3 and the classic trigger?

The Type 3 trigger has chamfered front corners for a distinct visual profile. Performance characteristics—smooth uptake, crisp break, short reset—are identical to the classic design. The trigger shoe itself is the only change.
