It solves the fitment issue where the stock clamp’s narrower range prevents secure mounting on certain dovetail mounts. By expanding the clamping range to match the ACRO mounting specs set by Aimpoint, this steel component ensures your MPS seats firmly on any ACRO-cut mount without modification or shimming.

Will this clamp work on a non-ACRO mount?
No. This clamp is engineered specifically for mounts cut to the Aimpoint ACRO footprint. It will not improve fitment on mounts with different dimensions.
Do I need to re-zero my optic after swapping the clamp?
Yes. Replacing the clamp changes the optic’s interface with the mount. Always re-zero after installation.
Is the black oxide finish durable?
Black oxide provides corrosion resistance and a low-glare surface, but is not as hard as nitride or DLC. It will wear with repeated clamp swaps. For carry optics, we recommend periodic inspection.
