This is a direct replacement wide flat trigger for SA-35 and Browning Hi-Power (BHP) pistols. It solves two common issues with the factory BHP trigger system: excessive over-travel (trigger over-run as the slide cycles) and a narrow, curved trigger face that concentrates pull force into a small contact area. The wider 0.31″ flat face (vs. 0.25″ factory width) distributes pressure across more of the finger, reducing fatigue during extended sessions. The integrated over-travel pad eliminates the sloppy rearward movement inherent to the Browning design. Minor trimming of this pad may be required on some pistols due to frame/slide tolerance variations.
Compatibility
- Springfield Armory SA-35 (all variants)
- Browning Hi-Power (all production years)
- FEG PJK-9HP
- Charles Daly HP
- Argentine FM 90-series
- Does NOT fit clones with non-standard trigger geometry (Kareen, Star)
Key Features
- 0.31″ wide flat face – lower finger placement for increased leverage
- Integrated over-travel reduction pad – eliminates trigger over-run
- Machined steel, heat-treated for service life
- Armorlube™ finish – corrosion resistant, wear-resistant
- 100% Made in USA
- Direct drop-in replacement – no permanent modification required
Install Difficulty: 2/5
Requires removal of factory trigger and trigger pin. Recommend using a trigger pin removal punch (PN 115-351) to avoid damaging the frame. Minor filing of the over-travel pad may be needed on some pistols. Basic gunsmithing tools (punch set, small file, brass hammer) recommended. Estimated install time: 15-30 minutes.
FAQ
Will this fit my SA-35 without fitting?
Direct drop-in for SA-35 and BHP frames. The over-travel pad may require light trimming on some slides due to manufacturing tolerances. Test fit before final assembly.
Does this trigger reduce trigger pull weight?
No. This trigger does not alter sear engagement or spring tension. It only changes the geometry of the trigger face and eliminates over-travel. Pull weight remains factory spec unless you also replace springs.
What finish is on this trigger?
Armorlube™ – a self-lubricating, corrosion-resistant coating that will not show wear from normal trigger manipulation. The steel body is heat-treated for durability.
