This action enhancement kit reworks the trigger geometry on the CZ Shadow 2 to tighten the spread between double-action and single-action pull weights to roughly 2 lbs. The hammer and sear ship with matched single-action engagement surfaces, so there’s no hand-polishing or stoning required. The kit is a direct drop-in replacement for the factory hammer and sear assembly, and it eliminates the stacking typical of the stock DA stroke.

FAQ

Will this kit work with an extended firing pin?
No. Use only the factory CZ Shadow 2 firing pin. Extended firing pins can cause primer drag or light-strike issues with this trigger geometry.

Can I swap mainsprings after installation?
Yes. Both the Carry (6/4 lb) and Competition (5/3.5 lb) mainsprings are included. Swap takes about 5 minutes with a mainspring plug tool.

Does this kit require any permanent modification to the frame or slide?
No. It’s a drop-in fit. You can return the pistol to factory configuration by reinstalling the original hammer and sear.
