Action Enhancement Trigger for Hellcat

This drop-in trigger assembly directly replaces the factory Hellcat trigger unit. It reduces pull weight to 5.0–5.5 lbs after a 200–300 round break-in period, shortens overall travel and reset, and delivers a crisp break. All factory safety values (striker block, trigger safety, sear engagement) are retained. Available in two visual styles: the classic trigger (radiused front corners) or the Type 3 trigger (chamfered front corners with decorative side cuts). Performance is identical between both versions.

Requires: punch set, small hammer, slave pin (or paperclip), needle-nose pliers. Remove slide, drift out trigger pin, swap trigger shoe and bar as a single assembly, reinstall pin. No trigger group disassembly needed. Approx. 15 minutes for first-time install.

FAQ

Will this work in the Hellcat RDP?

No. The RDP uses a different trigger housing geometry. This trigger is only for standard Hellcat and Hellcat Pro frames.

Do I need to replace any springs or use a different sear?

No. This is a complete drop-in trigger shoe + bar assembly. Use the factory striker spring, sear, and trigger return spring. Replacing those parts is not required and may affect safety values.

What is the difference between the classic and Type 3 triggers?

Only the cosmetic profile. The classic has a radius at the front corners and a plain face. The Type 3 has chamfered front corners and decorative cuts on the visible sides. Both use the same bar geometry and produce identical pull weight, travel reduction, and reset feel.
