What It Is

A drop-in duty/carry kit for M&P Shield, Shield 45, and Shield 2.0 pistols. Designed to improve trigger feel without replacing the factory trigger shoe. Reduces pull weight by approximately 2 lbs, shortens reset distance, and minimizes over-travel. The kit uses direct replacement parts — no fitting required.

Requires basic disassembly of the trigger housing. Tools needed: punch set, small hammer, and slave pin (or paperclip). Armorer’s block recommended but not required. Expect 20–30 minutes if you’ve done Shield internals before.

Will this work with my factory trigger shoe?

Yes. This kit is designed to retain the factory trigger shoe. It replaces the sear, striker block, and trigger return spring only.

Why does the sear have different markings?

We’re transitioning from 2-dot sears to #2 sears. Both are functionally identical in Shield kits. You may receive either — no difference in performance.

Does this require any permanent modification?

No. All parts drop in with no filing, sanding, or permanent alteration to the firearm. Can be returned to factory configuration.
