This Extractor Components Kit provides four direct drop-in replacement parts for the Springfield Hellcat and Hellcat Pro. It restores factory-spec extractor function when original components show wear or when you’re building a spare parts inventory. The kit does not alter trigger pull, ejection pattern, or safety operation — these are factory-equivalent spare parts, not performance upgrades.

Install Difficulty

2 out of 5 – Moderate. Requires basic armorer tools (punch set, small hammer, slave pin or roll pin starter). Disassembly of the slide and removal of the factory extractor is needed. No fitting required; components drop in. Expect 10–15 minutes for an experienced user.

FAQ

Will this fix ejection problems on my Hellcat?

No. This kit replaces worn factory parts with identical-spec components. If your pistol has ejection issues caused by an out-of-spec extractor or weak spring, this kit can restore original reliability. It will not change ejection angle, strength, or pattern beyond factory baseline.

Does this include the extractor plunger and spring?

No. The kit includes only the four parts listed above: extractor body, extractor pin, extractor spring, and spring retainer. The extractor plunger assembly (plunger + spring + bearing) is a separate component not included.

Is this compatible with aftermarket barrels or slides?

Compatibility depends on the aftermarket part’s extractor cut dimensions. Factory Hellcat/Hellcat Pro slides and barrels are designed for these spec components. Aftermarket slides with non-standard extractor channels may require fitting or a different extractor.
