This is a direct-fit thread protector for the factory threaded barrels on the FN 545 Tactical and FN 510 Tactical. It replaces the OEM cap to shield the .578-28 muzzle threads from impact, debris, and cross-threading during storage or range use. The offset pentagon profile also prevents the protector from rolling off a workbench.

FAQ
Will this fit a barrel with a different thread pitch?
No. This protector is specifically cut for .578-28 TPI. It will not thread onto 1/2×28, M13.5×1 LH, or other common pistol muzzle threads.
Does the O-ring prevent the protector from loosening?
The captured O-ring provides friction retention during carry and storage, but it is not a lock washer. For competition or high-round-count use, apply a small amount of Vibra-TITE or similar removable thread locker.
What is the difference between the Bead Blasted and Armorlube finishes?
Bead Blasted is a matte white/silver surface with no coating. Armorlube is a black, corrosion-resistant baked-on finish. Both are durable; choose based on your slide color preference.
